The purpose of the Wilson Safety Patrol team is to help students cross safely to and from school. Patrol members are responsible, reliable, helpful, friendly, trustworthy and honest.

The Wilson Patrol Team covers four different crosswalks in the area surrounding Wilson Elementary. The Wilson Patrol Team is split into a morning team that is on duty before school starts and the afternoon team is on duty at the end of the school day.

The Wilson Safety Patrol Team consists of 40-45 4th & 5th-grade student leaders. 3rd & 4th-grade students that are interested in joining the patrol team can apply and train in the spring for the upcoming school year.
